ITD is the exclusive commercial provider of RIPOTS, the recycling industry plant operator training scheme, supported by the BMRA, the HSE and the industry insurers.

RIPOTS covers operator training for all types of fixed and mobile plant and machinery. Training standards have been developed to take account of and meet the training needs of the industry, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation and guidance regulations.
