Learning Outcome: This unit is designed to confirm that the candidate is able to operate the plant and machinery to meet work requirements. It confirms that the candidate is able to load the machine and process the material. It ensures that the candidate is able to monitor the equipment to maintain safety throughout the work activity, and carry out operations safely.
Assessment: Trainees will be encouraged to build their skills by guided practice, culminating in a formal practical assessment, together with a knowledge questionnaire.
